British Consulate in Southern Spain will be holding two Brexit question and answer sessions on the Costa del Sol in April.
Consul Charmaine Arbouin and her team are due to hold two talks in San Roque and Fuengirola, taking place on Wednesday April 3 and Tuesday April 23 respectively. “We recognise the current uncertainty for British people living in Spain and we will continue to do all we can to update citizens as and when we have more information,” Arbouin said.
The San Roque talk (3rd April) is set to be held at the Juan Luis Galiardo Theatre, on Paseo Alameda Alfonso XI. The Fuengirola event (23rd April) will be held at the town’s Casa de la Cultura, Avenida Juan Gomez Juanito, 12. Arbouin and other officials will be covering a range of issues including residency, registration, healthcare and pensions among others.
These events are part of an ongoing outreach programme being held across Spain. If you are unclear about current residency requirements in Spain, or how the UK’s exit from the EU might affect you, everyone is free to come along to one of these upcoming events to ask the questions that concern you. There is no need to register before hand, officials added.
Details of future events will be announced on their website and on the ‘Brits in Spain’ Facebook page.
